Japanese Wagyu medallions announced as A5 in a format close to 150 g. According to the producer they come from hips and picanha, two areas that allow to obtain small portions for direct cooking. The presentation facilitates serving the Wagyu as a tasting and compare its marble with that of cuts of Australian origin.
The size of 150 g is designed for a tasting, not for a large roast. It is appropriate to compare the denomination A5 and the concrete cut with the other presentations of Japanese Wagyu, since not all offer the same format and the same commercial level.
